Dr Aderonke Olaitan Adesina is a researcher, educator and community development advocate with extensive experience in academia, research, stakeholder engagement and capacity building. She holds a PhD in Information Science (Knowledge Management), and has worked across Nigeria, South Africa, the United Kingdom and the United States in research, teaching, career development and community-focused initiatives. Her expertise spans knowledge management, programme development, research dissemination, mentorship and inclusive interventions that promote equitable access. She is passionate about maternal and child health outcomes, community capacity and sustainable, community-driven solutions at the heart of the Foundation's mission.
Over the years she has been involved in health education campaigns, women's empowerment initiatives, youth mentoring and outreach for underserved populations, emphasising evidence-based approaches and collaboration among communities, professionals and institutions.
